How to Register and Login to UPPCL Website- Rural and Urban?

Online Register and Login to UPPCL Website(UPPCL online Login and Registration)

If you are an electricity consumer of Uttar Pradesh that is UPPCL, then you can register your electricity account online on UPPCL’s official website. There are many benefits of registering your account.

So, Before we know how to register let’s discuss the benefit of registering on the UPPCL website.

Friends in UP there are two different portals to register your account. One for Urban areas and another for rural areas.  Here we will discuss each one by one.

How to register and login to UPPCL website-Urban

To register your account, you need to visit UPPCL’s official website upenergy.in. Now go to the consumer corner section and the “Bill Payment/OTS”  Section. Here you can find two options.

1. Bill Payment (Urban) and
2. Bill Payment (Rural)

To register for the urban area you need to visit the first link “Bill Payment (Urban)”. When you will click here you will be redirected to the urban area portal of UPPCL. Or you can directly click here to go to the urban area portal.

Here in the above image, In the My connection Section there are two options are available Login and Register. For the first time, we need to register. Once registration is complete you can log in through the login option.

Now we will click on “Register ” to register your account.

On the new page, you have to fill in your account number and bill number or SBM Bill no.

Friends here only two data are required, one your account number and another is your bill number or SBM bill number. You need to enter any one of them. Now click continue.

After this, you will be prompt to this page.

Here in the upper section, your connection details will be shown. Just below that,

• you need to fill in your email ID and re-enter to confirm.
• Then create a suitable password and re-enter to confirm.
• After this enter your mobile number.
• Now select a security question and fill in its answer. ( it will help you recover the password in case you forget)
• Check the terms and conditions check box.
• now click submit button.

Now you will see that registration is complete.

How to Activate the Account- Urban:

After completing the registration process you also need to activate the account before login in.  After the registration, an email is sent to your email ID. Go to your email inbox or it may be in the spam section. Find a recent email from Self Service as shown below.

Now open the email and you will find an activation link. Just click on the link and your account will be activated and ready to log in.

How to register and login to UPPCL website-Rural

As we already discussed UPPCL has two different portals for registering the account. We have already discussed urban areas. Now we will discuss how to register for rural areas.

Where to register?

The initial step is the same you need to visit upenergy.in. Then go to the consumer corner section and the “Bill Payment/OTS”  Section. Here you can find two options.

1. Bill Payment (Urban) and
2. Bill Payment (Rural)

To register for the rural area you need to visit the first link “Bill Payment (Rural)”. When you will click here you will be redirected to the rural area portal of UPPCL. Or you can directly click here to go to the rural area portal. Here in the above image, you can see an option of login. Just click on the “लॉगिन ” option. It will take you to another page. For the first time, you need to click on register. Once you complete your registration you can log in from here only.

How to Register?

Now we will click on “Register Now ” to start registration(Shown in the above image). After clicking it will take you to a registration form.

Here you need to fill the above form,

• First, enter the 12 digit account number
• Then create a suitable password and re-enter to confirm.
• After this enter your full name mobile number and email.
• Now select a security question and fill in its answer. ( it will help you recover the password in case you forget)
• Below that mark both checkboxes for SMS and email update. You can leave it blank if you don’t want SMS and email update.
• Now enter the captcha from the image.
• Check the terms and conditions check box.
• Now click the Register button.

Now you will go to another page. Here you have to fill the OTP received on your mobile number and click on Validate OTP.

How to Activate the Account- Rural:

Yes. It’s complete. Your registration is now complete. You will get and confirmation message of your account activation on the next screen as shown in the below image.

Now you can log in to the account.
