How to Check Electricity Bill Payment History and Old Electricity Bill online

In this article, we will know two things. The first is how to check the electricity bill payment history. The second is how to get the old electricity bill online.

Friends, Normally when we check the electricity bill online, It shows the latest bill and last payment only. But Here I am going to reveal a method through which you can check the old electricity bill and previous payment history both.

Steps to Check Previous Payment History and Electricity Bill:

Now we will see the procedure step by step.

Open the official Website of  Your Power Supply Company:

First of all, you have to open the official website of your power supply company. For example, if you are from Bihar and your power supply company is SBPDCL. Then open its official website sbpdcl.co.in. In a similar way if you are from Uttar Pradesh you can open the official website of UPPCL that is uppclonline.com. If you are from another state you have to open the website of your supplier.

If you don’t know the website you can simply search the name in the google. It will show the website and you can go there.

New Consumer Registration/Login:

You have opened the website of your utility company. Now search for new consumer registration, register, login or similar option. Here you will find an option to register your consumer ID or CA (contract Account) number.

As shown in the above images you will find an option to log in. But for the first time, you need to register your consumer details.

To register you can see the option like new consumer registration or simply register etc. After clicking there you need to fill in some details and you can generate your password. After that, you just need to log in with these credentials and your old payment history and bills are there.

Now I will explain the step-by-step process to register, log in, and view electricity bill payment history and old electricity bills online. Here I will show you the procedure for SBPDCL(South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited). The process for NBPDCL(North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited) is exactly the same. For another state, the process is somehow similar.

How to Register?

Click on New Consumer Registration Option and you will see the option like below image.

Now enter your CA number and mobile number and click on validate. When you click on validate a verification code will be sent like an OTP and also you get the option to enter the verification code and email ID. So, Now enter the verification code and email ID and click on the submit button.  Now you will see a complete form to fill all the detail like shown in the image below.

Now fill all details and click on submit.

Once you submit the form you will receive a verification code to the email provided by you. In the next screen, you have to enter this verification code and click on verify. Now it’s done. Your registration process is now complete.

View Your Electricity Complete Details

Now login with you CA number and password created. You will see an interface like this.

In this image, you can see a menu list on the right side. There are 6 options

1. My Profile
2. Bill & Payments
3. General Information
4. Complaint Management
5. Service Request Forms
6. Change Password

with these options you can check all details of your electricity bill, also you can lodge a complaint form here. But the most important option is the 2nd option which is Bill & Payments.

View Electricity Bill Payment History and Old Electricity Bills:

In the 2nd option which is Bill & Payments, you can view and download your electricity bill payment history and old electricity bill online. When you click the Bill & Payments option you will see a sub-menu contains another 8 options.

Here we will discuss the few important options and other you can explore by yourself.

View & Pay Bill:

In this option, you can view your latest bill and pay it directly from here.

Print Receipt:

Here you can find the payment receipts of all your online payments. There is one problem here you can not print the receipts for offline payment. But you can view all the payment details in the next option that is payment summary.

Payment Summary:

This option allows you to view all your electricity bill payment history. Which is either paid online, offline or through cheque and DD etc.

Download Previous Bills:

In this option, you can view and download your old electricity bill online. Here you will see a list of all the bills that are generated.

So in this way you can view and download Electricity Bill Payment History and Old Electricity Bill online.
